Final Design
This is the final design for the wine label. It has been printed on recycled off white stock to create a more vintage appearance which was requested by the client. The wine label has been printed using a laser printer to ensure the use of milk being used as an adhesive without causing the ink to run. The decision to use milk as an adhesive was because the wine has been brewed at home, and won’t be sold commercially, this is an economical method which allows the consumers to reuse the wine bottles after drinking the wine, thus being more environmentally friendly and cost effective.
Red foiling has been used for the most prominent text and bird as well to give it a higher quality appearance, however if this label was being produced commercially and not using university equipment and doing most of the production myself, the addition of foiling would of been far out of the clients £20 budget. This is something to bear in mind if this design later needed to be produced commercially and on a larger scale.
