Create an illustration of Amelia and puppy Daisy in a similar style to character ‘Sid’ from the character a day series, and a campaign poster with supplied content and imagery for Amelia’s Student President Election Campaign.
Considerations
The illustration must work on a small and large scale as will be shown on social media in a large format, but printed small on the campaign poster and other campaign asset’s Amelia chooses to produce.
You must ensure the poster is bold and eye catching in order to stand out against the other competitors for the role, but also should remain legible and clear, so you get the message immediately.

My understanding of the brief
I am to create an illustration of Amelia and puppy daisy based off the style of the character ‘Sid’ I created for the Character a day series, to be used as an illustration for her Student President Election Campaign.
I should also produce a campaign poster for this campaign as well, using content and photographs Amelia will provide. This campaign poster should include the illustration I create.
This brief has an extremely quick turnaround, so this will have to be considered when coming up with the designs, the amount of time that I have, allowing contingency time for amendments as well.
Aims
- To develop my character a day style for a practical purpose
- To expand my knowledge of campaign poster design
