OUGD603 EXTENDED PRACTICE - HARRISONS ADVENT CALENDAR FINAL PHOTOGRAPHS

The final designs for this brief were produced physically to see how they appear as an actual object.

Merry Christmas, Everyone!
This is the final type based design. It has been produced using paper cut and then scanned in to alter the colours vibrancy and to add in Harrison’s logo. From the tester, the trees have been made a lot smaller to create a more evenly distributed pattern, and to not take prominence away from the text.

Present
The present idea was the second design created for this competition brief, as it works really effectively as an image for the advent calendar, and it’s connotations of giving clients a present are really clear. The idea of having the Harrisons logo on the tag makes it much more personal and thoughtful, an image Harrisons gives off from it’s work with charities 

Production
The designs were submitted for the competition digitally, however to expand the brief further I wanted to actually make the advent calendars, so added on the numbered boxes to the design and placed it on a net for an advent calendar. This is great to see how the designs actually work on a 3D shape, as this is how they would be produced if I had won.
