OUGD602 PPP - FIJI BAKE SALE

This summer I am volunteering with the charity Think Pacific in Fiji, running arts workshops and sports coaching with children. I held a bake sale in the Leeds College of Art cafe to raise money for the charity, and designed the posters to go around the college and to be shown on social media as well.

I started off by sketching cakes to feature on the poster...

These cakes were then digitally altered in order to appear cleaner...

This is the final poster to go around the college, with the text being large and bold so it stands out against other posters. The pink colour also allows it to stand out on the college walls, being full of colour.

These are photographs of the posters around college, you can see how they stand out against the other posters in their area, due to the use of bold text and the bright pink colours used.

These were the two designs for social media, which took on a more aesthetically pleasing appearance as they didn't need to have the same impact in the same way as when it's around college.

The bake sale was a huge success, and I managed to raise £23.20 for the Think Pacific Foundation.
