Secondary research was undertaken as inspiration for the design of the campaign poster.

Ping Pong This poster for the Ping Pong series has a contemporary appearance with the use of minimal secondary colours, and a sans serif typeface. This is a really stripped back look, even more so compared to the Air France poster, but because of this has a very strong impact. This is something to consider for the campaign poster design, as all the information must be included, but perhaps a more minimalist appearance would be the most eye catching, in stark contrast to other competitors. |

Air France This is one of a series of advertising campaign posters for Air France. This takes on a similar layout to that of Armin Hoffmann, however on a much more simplified appearance, as it must be clear and readable, as opposed to just looking pretty cool. The photograph takes the main focus, with the ext forming a frame around the border. This appears almost like a postcard, or a Polaroid photograph print off, giving it an authentic, old fashioned appearance. |

Armin Hoffmann This post-modernist style poster was a real inspiration for the campaign poster, in how the text overlaps with the main photograph to create a layered effect. The simple use of colour also allows the photograph to really stand out, and for this complex design to not appear too overwhelming and jam packed. |
